- Levels range from Primary (Classes 5–6) to Senior (Undergraduate students).
- The Preliminary round for 2025 took place on 23rd August 2025, followed by the Final round on 25th October 2025.
- Over 1.2 lakh students from across the country participate each year, with the top 10% qualifying for the finals.
For many students, particularly at the Junior and Inter levels, NMTC acts not only as a stepping stone to Olympiads, but may also lead directly to INMO, alongside opening doors to advanced problem-solving platforms.”

The 2025 NMTC Timeline
- Preliminary Round: 23rd August 2025 (MCQs and fill-in-the-blanks, 2 hours).
