Celebrate Mangalore’s Green Heritage with the Heritage Tree Photography Competition!
CFAL is proud to present the Heritage Tree Photography Competition, a unique event as part of the upcoming Makers’ Fete 2024, happening on December 14th at CFAL Campus, Akashbhavan. This exciting competition is open to all photography enthusiasts—students and adults alike—and aims to celebrate and document Mangalore’s majestic heritage trees
About the Event:
The Heritage Tree Photography Competition encourages participants to explore and showcase the beauty, history, and ecological significance of Mangalore’s heritage trees. It’s not just a contest; it’s a call to preserve and cherish the natural treasures that define the heart of Kudla.
Who Can Participate?
- Students: School and college students (1st Prize ₹3000, 2nd Prize ₹1000).
- Adults: Open to photography enthusiasts aged 18 and above (1st Prize ₹5000, 2nd Prize ₹2000).
How to Participate:
1. Capture stunning photographs of heritage trees in Mangalore.
2. Include important details such as the location, girth, and type of tree.
3. Submit at least 1 photograph and up to a maximum of 3 photographs online by 12th December 2024.

Event Highlights:
The best entries will be showcased during Makers’ Fete 2024, with a panel of judges reviewing submissions in an open session. Participants will have the opportunity to share brief background information about their photographs, fostering a deeper connection to Mangalore’s ecological heritage.
